Pet Photography

Clyde has run the neighbourhood for years. He’s now 17, and we love it when he comes to the yard to visit. I took advantage of this visit to snap a few photos.

Misha is a 2 yr old retriever mix. He was abandoned and living on the streets of Cairo Egypt. Misha is also a canine cancer survivor, and thanks to ‘ Flight of Hope’ rescue, he now has a safe and wonderful home here in Ontario.

How many times has your dog or cat done something outrageous, and you have said to yourself, “ Wow, I wish I had a picture of that!” Do they have quirky habits? Do they melt your heart with “that look”?

Animals make a home complete. My wife and I have 3 cats, and we always say, “ They own the house, and they just let us live in it”. I get so much inspiration from them, as a photographer.

My job is to capture the personality and the energy of your Furr-ever friends, at their best…and their worst, giving you photo memories to last a lifetime. Let’s cherish their unique personalities when we have the chance.

I always book a photo session for 60-90 minutes, but honestly, they don’t often last that long. Especially with dogs, as they only have an attention span for so long. ( If I come back for an additional shoot, I’m happy to do that). These memories are important, and I’m not here to force your pet to “perform” for 60+ minutes.

A typical pet session starts with a consultation, and a meet and greet with your pet, so we can become familiar with each other, and they can get used to me being “that person” that has the camera in hand when we meet again. It gives me a chance to learn what they love, what they will do for a toy or treat, and what makes them happy. We’ll pick a day for me to visit your choice of outdoor space, take the photos, and within a couple of weeks I’ll present a number of high resolution photos for you to view.

The cost of the session will include 2 edited high resolution 8 x10 prints of your choice.
